Log burners and soft, ambient lighting create a comforting and characterful space. The bar is always stocked with carefully selected wines, premium spirits, and a rotating line-up of local ales, lagers, and ciders—all served with genuine warmth by our team.

The Restaurant

Our restaurant offers a more traditional dining space, set apart from the bar, for a relaxed, sit-down experience. That said, nothing at The Stag is ever stiff or formal – just laid-back dining done well.

Whether you’re popping in for a coffee in the afternoon or enjoying a leisurely dinner in the evening, the space is yours to enjoy. Expect a warm atmosphere, welcoming service, and the best of Head Chef Martin Lee’s seasonal British cooking, served with heart.

Beer Garden

Step outside, and you’ll find our beautifully landscaped garden, flowing directly from the bar and offering a peaceful space to enjoy a drink, a snack, or a full meal in the open air.

As the sun sets, subtle lighting transforms the space into something magical – ideal for a romantic evening, a long-overdue catch-up, or just a quiet moment under the stars.

Whether you arrive on foot, cycle, horseback or by car, we have catered for, and welcome everyone. We have built our very own cycle hub that has a place to meet and securely store your bike.
